The photographs show some of the 25 kids and chaperones from Acwsalcta Scool that were up at East Branch today engaging in winter activities which of course included cross country skiing. The temperature of -5C was quite comfortable given the sunny skies.
The Old Highway trail and 3 km portion of the Meadow Loop are in good shape and are the places to ski for now. We broke out the 7 km Meadow Loop and Pedersen Trail but have yet set a track there. All trails should be open within 7 days unless things get messed up (It has been known to happen).
