This past week has been generous to us by providing a good dump of snow as seen in the photograph of the ex-logger. I was out today and managed to put Nordic tracks on the Pedersen Trail, the 3 km Rabbit track and the 7 km Meadow Loop Trail. The full 12 km Meadow Loop has not been tracked but I managed to drive my machine around it without getting stuck. These trails are not leveled yet so there are some ups and downs but the track is well formed and firm. We will level them out after the next snowfall which is forecast for Monday.
The Old Highway Trail is still the best sking in spite of the moose that has been stomping on much of it.
