The photograph shows the Old Highway Trail after a Nordic and Skate Ski Lane were fabricated. We had 16 inches of new snow since Sunday so it required a lot of compacting to get it into reasonable shape. The x-c ski parking lot was plowed by Interior Roads this morning (thank you very much). The temperature was around -6C at mid day. There are cool temperatures forecast for tonight so the trail should set up well by tomorrow. No new snow is forecast until Monday so conditions should be ideal for the weekend.
